Fitness Superstore

Fitness Superstore is the latest addition to the growing number of high profile retails outlets at Royal Quays. Manager Michael Dunn, who was previously with Chain Reaction in Northern Ireland is delighted to have the store up and running.

“We’ve actually opened a week earlier than originally planned and had a great response. The store has a range of our equipment including multi-gyms, rowing machines and treadmills that customers can try before they buy. We have people coming down with their training shoes and doing a bit of a workout which is definitely the way to make a decision on whether something’s right for you.”

Fitness Superstore has a nationwide presence but the Royal Quays outlet is the furthest north, with the next nearest store in Manchester. For more information about Fitness Superstore, visit http://www.fitness-superstore.co.uk/

Retailer of the Month – Costa

Kevin Reed is Costa’s Assistant Manager and has been with the company for 11 years. “I moved here last year from the Metro Centre store and help manage a team of 8 people. We’re open every day and trade is pretty brisk from the time the doors open.”

Costa, of course, is famous for its wonderful range of coffees but compliments this with a menu that includes sandwiches, salads, cakes and biscuits.

All of Costas coffees are available with low fat or soya milk alternatives and a new line just launched is Costa Light. As the name suggests, it’s a lighter coffee option, made with a single shot of espresso and fresh skimmed milk. It’s blended to feel like a real, luxurious treat but actually has less than 80 calories!
